Final registration for candidates eligible to enroll in associate and undergraduate programs at our university between July 19-25, 2025, will be completed by applying in person or through their legal representatives at our university's Student Affairs Office. Registration will take place between August 11-15, 2025. If primary candidates fail to apply within the specified timeframe, a reserve candidate list will be announced on August 18, 2025. Registration for candidates eligible for enrollment from the reserve list will take place between August 19-21, 2025.
During registration, candidates will be asked to provide original copies of the documents uploaded to the application system and the other documents listed below. Final registration will not be processed for candidates found to have any inconsistencies or deficiencies in their application documents. Candidates who fail to register within the specified timeframes will be deemed to have waived their registration rights.
Documents Required for Registration
1- For candidates who completed their secondary education outside the Republic of Turkey, an equivalency certificate must be obtained from the Directorate of National Education in Turkey or from the Education Counselor's Office/Attaché abroad. (Candidates who qualify for final registration to our university programs and do not have an equivalency certificate will be temporarily registered and given a one-month extension to obtain the certificate. Provisionally registered candidates cannot register for courses during the relevant semester. 2- For candidates who have graduated, a copy of the original high school diploma, translated into Turkish, certified by a notary public or the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Turkey. (Candidates in their final year of high school must bring a certified document proving their eligibility to graduate.)
3- A copy of the original transcript, translated into Turkish, certified by the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Turkey, or a notary public-certified copy.
4- Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (if applicable).
5- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (if applicable).
6- Original passport or official ID.
7- Proof of valid health insurance (private health insurance covering the period of the General Health Insurance (GSS) or residence permit application) or a general health insurance statement. (Click for the Statement of Assurance.)
8- Six biometric photographs.
9- Original GCE AL exam results for TRNC nationals who completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools.
10- If applicable, the documents required for final registration by the departments and programs. Other special documents
11- TR-YÖS exam result document or other exam result document
12- For foreigners under 18 years of age; for those arriving with a visa exemption or a visa for a different purpose; a document containing parent/guardian information (birth certificate, family certificate, etc.) and a consent letter from the parent/guardian/legal representative (for those arriving with a visa suitable for their intended purpose (student visa)); a consent letter and a document containing parent/guardian information will not be included.
13- Residence permit document
a) In addition to the documents above, candidates without a residence permit must submit the following documents:
1. Residence permit registration/application form (signed by the student in wet ink),
2. Document showing the address information,
• If staying in their own home, a photocopy of the title deed (for extension applications, a "residence certificate and utility bill" is sufficient),
• If staying under a rental agreement, a notarized copy of the rental agreement,
• Hotel, etc. If staying in student accommodation, proof of residence.
• If staying in student dormitories, proof of residence.
• If staying with a sponsor, a notarized commitment from the person staying with them (if the sponsor is married, also a notarized commitment from their spouse)
3. A receipt confirming payment of the residence permit fee.
Turkish Proficiency and Preparatory Training
Candidates' Turkish proficiency is assessed based on the Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate issued by the Yunus Emre Institute, the Turkish language education certificate issued by the Embassies of the Republic of Turkey, or documents obtained from Turkish Language Teaching Centers affiliated with universities of the Republic of Turkey. Candidates who completed their secondary education in Turkish high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education are considered proficient in Turkish. Students who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate, or who fail the Turkish Proficiency and Level Determination Exam administered by our university, or who do not participate in the exam, are required to take Turkish Preparatory Training.
The Turkish Proficiency Exam for eligible candidates will be held on September 17, 2025.
Note: Students placed in programs that require a mandatory foreign language preparatory class and meet the Turkish proficiency requirement will be admitted directly to the first year of their studies if they can prove successful in one of the national and/or international foreign language exams accepted by our University, or if they pass the Preparatory Class Foreign Language Proficiency Exam administered by our University.
Acceptance Letter
Candidates who have applied for quotas opened under our University's 2025 International Student Program and whose applications have been accepted by the International Student Admission and Evaluation Committee and who have been granted final registration to any program can receive their acceptance letters through the online application system.
