Considering that the students of the Faculty of Technology, Automotive Engineering Department and Energy Systems Engineering Department of our University, applying the 7 + 1 education model, spend the first 6 weeks of the "Workplace Training" course in the workplace (with the gains of applied education in the business, while working in the business), the remaining 8 weeks can be remotely. With the teaching method, it was decided to complete the course, homework, project, application file and similar activities and on 13.04.2020, "Google Classroom and Google Hangouts Meet" are given in the form of right synchronous and asynchronous in these courses.
In asynchronous lectures, the instructors upload the document (PPT, PDF, DOC, etc.) related to the subject of the week to the Google Classroom system according to the Lesson Monitoring Form (Syllabus). If there is a source, the student is directed here.

Tips for home study - take breaks and be social online
Plan your day Being structured and following your normal study/work time might help you stay focused on your goals. Keep your routines going, now you have saved times from 'commuting' and can make use of it. You can create an efficient work area at home.
Take a walk
Move as much as you can in the house or in your garden/patio. With some precautions taken, you can take a brief walks around your house.
Be social Being socially distant doesnt necessarily mean being socially distant. Create game/coffee talk times with your friends via Skype, Zoom, or Google Meet.
Take advantage of your time at home Learning a new language, starting a hobby that you always wanted to do, joining personal development courses. Now you have a bunch of options to make use of the time. You can digitally connect to the world, visit the museums.

- PCR testing is available at Istanbul Airport. There is no need for an appointment to visit the airport’s testing center, as it is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The testing center is in front of Entrance 14 in Arrivals Hall. The test fee is 250 TL or about $35 for all ages. You must arrive at the airport at least 6 hours prior to your flight with a valid ticket and a valid passport, test results take up to 5 hours.

The testing center is located in the International Departures Terminal, past the checkpoint, on the ground floor by the First Aid Office. The test fee is 250 TL or about $35 for all ages. You must arrive at the airport at least 7 hours prior to your flight with a valid ticket and a valid passport, as test results take up to 6 hours.
- Are non citizens required to quarantine? No
If they have not submitted a PCR test within 72-hours of boarding their flight, or arrived via land border or sea port without a PCR test, they will be required to quarantine where they planned to stay.
- Foreign passengers who test positive for COVID-19 on landing flights will be referred to a private hospital by the Ministry of Health – Border Health Unit, whereas Turkish passengers will be referred to a state hospital.

Here are a few rules to live by while traveling:
– Wear a face mask at all times.
– Adhere to the rules of airports and airlines.
– Follow closely the regulations set by the General Directorate of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD).
– Disinfect and wipe down the area where you will be sitting.
– Make sure to keep your hands clean during your journey by washing or disinfecting them regularly.
– Cough or sneeze into your elbow.
– Change your mask about every four hours or when it gets wet.
– Choose well-ventilated seats, preferably next to a window.
– Stay away from public toilets as much as possible.

- The Government of Turkey announced a four-tier system on local COVID-19 related restrictions. Each province is categorized as being “low-,” “middle-,” “high-,” or “very high-” risk based on infection and vaccination rates. - Weekend curfews during the day have been lifted for regions in the “low” and “middle” category (https://covid19.saglik.gov.tr/).
- Daily curfews between 9:00 p.m. and 5 a.m. remain in effect nationwide regardless of the locality’s risk category.
- In provinces with a “low’ or “middle” category of risk, the curfew for Turkish citizens and residents aged 65 and over and children under the age of 20 has been lifted.
- In provinces with a “high” or “very high” category of risk, Turkish citizens and residents age 65 and older are restricted to their place of residence, and only allowed outside between 10:00-14:00.?
- In provinces with a “high” or “very high” category of risk, Turkish citizens and residents age 20 and below are only allowed outside during the hours of 14:00-18:00.?
