Results of the Application Evaluation for the 2024–2025 Academic Year Associate and Undergraduate Programs within the Scope of the International Student Program

Registration Process

The final registration procedures of candidates who have gained the right to register to our university's associate and undergraduate programs as a result of International Student applications between August 12-23, 2024 will be carried out in person or by their legal representatives at our University's Student Affairs Department. The registration procedures of the candidates will be carried out between September 02-06, 2024, and if the main candidates do not apply within the specified period, the reserve candidate list will be announced on September 09, 2024. The registration procedures for the candidates who have gained the right to register from the reserve list will be carried out between September 10-12, 2024. If the first reserve candidate does not apply within the specified period, the second reserve candidate list will be announced on September 13, 2024. The registration procedures for the candidates who have gained the right to register from the second reserve list will be carried out between September 16-18, 2024.

During registration, the originals of the documents uploaded to the application system and the other documents specified below will be requested from the candidates. The final registration procedures of the candidates who are found to have inconsistencies or deficiencies with the application documents will not be carried out. Candidates who do not register within the specified time will be deemed to have given up their registration rights.

Documents Required for Registration

1- For candidates who completed their secondary education outside the Republic of Turkey, an equivalence certificate to be obtained from the national education directorates in Turkey or from the education counselors/attaches abroad, (Temporary registrations are made for candidates who have earned the right to register to our University programs and do not have an Equivalence Certificate, and an additional 1 month is given to bring the equivalence certificate. Candidates who have made a temporary registration cannot register for courses in the relevant period. 2- Original copy of high school diploma of candidates who have graduated, translated into Turkish by notary or the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Turkey (Candidates who are in their final year of high school will bring an approved document indicating that they can graduate.)
3- Original copy of the transcript of records (transcript) translated into Turkish by the Embassy/Consulate of the Republic of Turkey or a notary approved copy,
4- Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (if applicable),
5- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (if applicable),
6- Original copy of passport or ID obtained from official authorities,
7- Document showing valid health insurance (private health insurance covering the period of GSS or residence permit request) or general health insurance assurance declaration, (Click for the Assurance Declaration.)
8- 6 biometric photographs,
9- Original copy of GCE AL exam result document of candidates with TRNC citizenship who completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools,
10- If applicable, the documents requested by the departments and programs in final registration other special documents,
11- TR-YÖS result document or other exam result document,
12- For foreigners under 18 years of age; for those coming with a visa exemption or a visa for a different purpose; document containing parent/guardian information (birth certificate, family document, etc.) and consent given by parent/guardian/legal representative (for those coming with a visa suitable for their purpose (student visa)); consent and document containing parent/guardian information will not be added.)
13- Residence permit document,
a) In addition to the documents above, the documents that candidates without a residence permit must bring;
1. Residence permit registration/application form (signed by the student in wet ink),
2. Document showing the address information where they will stay,
• If they are staying in their own house, a photocopy of the title deed (in extension applications, a “residence document and invoice” is sufficient),
• If they are staying with a rental agreement, a notary-certified copy of the rental agreement
• Hotel, etc. if staying in accommodation, document indicating that the accommodation was in these places

If staying in student dormitories, document indicating that the accommodation was in the dormitory

If staying with a sponsor, a notarized commitment of the person with whom the sponsor is staying (If the sponsor is married, also a notarized commitment of his/her spouse)

3. Receipt showing that the residence permit document fee was paid.

Turkish Proficiency and Preparatory Training

The Turkish proficiency of the candidates is evaluated according to the Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate issued by Yunus Emre Institute, the Turkish education certificate issued by the Embassies of the Republic of Turkey or the documents they receive from the Turkish Education Centers affiliated with the Universities of the Republic of Turkey. The Turkish of the candidates who completed their secondary education in Turkish high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education is considered sufficient. Students who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate, who fail the Turkish Proficiency and Level Determination Exam to be held by our University or who do not participate in the exam must take Turkish Preparatory Training.

The Turkish Proficiency Exam for candidates who have gained the right to register will be held on September 25, 2024.

Note: Students who are placed in programs with compulsory foreign language preparatory classes and meet the Turkish Proficiency requirement, who can prove that they have passed one of the national and/or international foreign language exams accepted by our University or who are successful in the Preparatory Class Foreign Language Proficiency Exam to be held by our University, are directly admitted to the first year.

Acceptance Letter

Candidates who have applied to the quotas opened within the scope of our University's 2024 international student program and whose applications are accepted by the Foreign Student Admission and Evaluation Commission and who have gained the right to register to any program can receive their acceptance letters through the online application system.
